The Jesus argument poll is for non-Christians only

Amazingly, some people still cling to the claims of the 19th century liberal critics. The Jesus of history is the same person as the Jesus of the Bible.

The Jesus argument poll is for non-Christians only

I want only objective voters.

By objective I meant unbiased. And no, I don't think atheists are the only objective people around. But, Christians are biased with respect to this specific poll. Lumping all atheists together with witches is without justification. There are actually two different types of atheists: affiliated atheists and unaffiliated atheists. Buddhism is an atheistic religion. Buddhists don't believe in any deities. Lumping Christians, Wiccans and Buddhists together makes more sense because they all practice a religion. We unaffiliated atheists are separate because we don't. You claim that atheists have no truth. But, you've failed to prove that. You've failed to prove the existence of God. I, on the other hand, have proven numerous things that you think of as truth to be false. In a way, I'm like a Christian, because I, like you, believe in absolute truth. But, the absolute truth is what I say it is, not what the Bible says it is.

How can something be bewildering and revealing at the same time?

I didn't take your lumping of atheists, Wiccans and agnostics together hard. I simply pointed out that we unaffiliated atheists are a separate group. I can't speak for other atheists. But, I don't spend an inordinate amount of time defending myself or differentiating or likening atheism to any religion. Atheism is not a religion, nor is it a lifestyle. An atheist is simply someone who knows there are no such things as deities. When I referred to absolute truth in my last message, I was referring to opinions, not facts. It goes without saying that facts like the law of conservation of energy are absolute truth. Regardless of what anyone tells you, everyone believes in absolute truth of the opinion variety as well as the fact variety. Everyone has their own opinions and everyone believes that their opinions are the absolute truth. Otherwise they wouldn't be their opinions. But, the truth is that I'm right and everyone who disagrees with me is wrong.
