In response to the article “Does Creation Science Have the Answers?” – Why can’t the two theories live together in harmony? It is always said that one of God’s days can be any length of time. Thus, after God put the raw materials in space, why could not his law of physics rule, the “Big Bang” providing the light.
As for the evolution and individual days of specific creatures and plants etc., why could it not be that each of the first six days was a major point in the evolutionary trail? The two match up very well, with plant life, then animal life, etc. Then, why cannot present time be the day of rest in which no more significant advances have evolved?
With this level of thought no one is wrong. Why can’t these Creation scientists accept that they evolved from a lesser animal? Compared to God, all creatures are nearly equal enough to allow one to think humans are a step above apes on an evolutionary track.
P.S. I filled out a questionnaire to receive a free issue a few months ago. Thanks anyways, but I strongly disagree with most of the articles and find many of them to be mere opinions. The ones that are supported are backed up by more opinion or facts that I find highly questionable as to their reliability. It seems as though, if the study sounds like it supports the opinion, it is used.

Editor’s note: The question “Evolved From a Lesser Animal?” is the focus of an article this month on page 20. We have been careful to include sources from both the creationist and evolutionist point of view. We encourage readers to look these up in the reference room of your local university library. By reading the actual source documents and comparing the “evidence” in favor of evolution to the story told in most science textbooks, we maintain that most people would be surprised just how biased our nation’s school curriculum is toward evolution.

I heard about your newspaper on “The Christian Forum” – WEZE Boston (Feb. 24, 1991) and I’d like to receive it – I am a Christian Catholic and am presently seeking God’s will and vision for my own life – so it was great hearing the broadcast and how the paper began.

Foundations in Biblical Orthodoxy
Driving down a country road sometime, you might see a church with a sign proudly proclaiming: “No book but the Bible — No creed but Christ.” The problem with this statement is that the word creed (from the Latin: credo) simply means “belief.” All Christians have beliefs, regardless of whether they are written.
Yet a single book containing the actual texts of the most important creeds of the early Church will not often be found. Out of the multitude of works on the evangelical Christian book market today, those dealing with the creeds of the Church are scarce.
Why Creeds and Confessions? provides a foundation of biblical orthodoxy as a defense against the false and truly heretical doctrines advanced by the spirit of this age.

With “preaching to the lost” being such a basic foundation of Christianity, why do many in the church seem to be apathetic on this issue of preaching in highways and byways of towns and cities?
Is it biblical to stand in the public places of the world and proclaim the gospel, regardless if people want to hear it or not?
Does the Bible really call church pastors, leaders and evangelists to proclaim the gospel in the public square as part of obedience to the Great Commission, or is public preaching something that is outdated and not applicable for our day and age?
These any many other questions are answered in this documentary.

Revival, Resistance, Reformation, Revolution
An Introduction to the Doctrines of Interposition and Nullification
In 1776, a short time after the Declaration of Independence was adopted, Thomas Jefferson, John Adams and Benjamin Franklin were assigned to design an official seal for the United States of America. Their proposed motto was Rebellion to Tyrants is Obedience to God. America owes its existence to centuries of Christian political philosophy. Our nation provided a model for liberty copied by nations the world over.
By the 21st century, we need a “Puritan Storm” to sweep away the Hegelian notion that the state is “God walking on earth.” We need revival and reformation in full force to vanquish the problems that plague us as a nation — from government controlled healthcare — to abortion on demand — to same sex “marriage.” This booklet gives a primer on our founders’ Christian idea of government and examines how the doctrine of nullification was woven into the Constitution as a safeguard against federal tyranny. It concludes with the history and theology of civil resistance. A Second American Revolution is coming with the Word of God growing mightily and prevailing! (Acts 19:20).
