A Confession of Victory

I believe righteousness is a greater force than wickedness (Eph. 6:10-17).
I believe we are the light of the world (Matt. 5:14).
I believe that although gross darkness is on the peoples, that the glory of the Lord will shine on us and ultimately cover the earth (see Isaiah 60).
I believe light is greater than darkness, and that darkness cannot overcome light (John 1:5).
I believe “greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world” (1 John 4:4).
I believe Jesus will build His church, and the gates of hell will not prevail against it (see Matthew 16:18). Gates are for defense. When the church of God is on the offensive, walking in holiness and obedience, the “gates of hell,” protecting the interests of hell, cannot withstand us. Child-killers, earth-worshippers, and pornographers are no match for an obedient, Holy Spirit-filled church. When we are doing what we should be doing, with God’s anointing, the wicked cannot prevail against us.
I believe the earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof, not the devil’s (Ps. 24:1a).
I believe Jesus was manifested to destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8). If we are conformed to His image (Rom 8:29), we will also destroy the works of the devil. I believe we can rebuild the ancient ruins and raise up the age-old foundations of righteousness (see Isaiah 58:6-12 and Isaiah 61:1-6).
I believe that the Kingdom of God is like a grain of mustard seed, which grows into a plant that dominates the whole garden (Luke 13:18-19).
I believe Christ is the Rock cut without hands who smashes the idol’s feet and slowly fills the earth (Dan. 2:45).
I believe all authority, in heaven and earth, is given to Christ now (Matt. 28:18).
I believe He is the King of kings and Lord of lords now (see 1 Timothy 6:15). He is the boss.
I believe all kings, princes, and judges are duty bound to obey Him now, lest He destroy them in His wrath (see Psalm 2).
I believe Jesus is returning for a glorious church — without spot or wrinkle (Eph. 5:27)—not some beaten down church whimpering in the corner until Jesus comes!
The parable said, “Occupy till I come,” not “hide out till I come” (Luke 19:13).
Finally (and this is for the true eschatological student), I believe most of Matthew 24 and book of Revelation are history.
This is a quick (and not comprehensive) view of my eschatology.
