Dear Ms. Graham,

Your letter of August 21, 1998 denies that any members of the U.S. Marshals Service personnel were privately employed by, or on behalf of, the Aware Woman abortion clinic in Melbourne, Florida. This is contrary to my understanding of the situation.

For the time being, please immediately send me copies of the following documentation:

1. The written authorization of the Attorney General for the presence of the U. S. Marshals at this particular abortion clinic.
2. Written instructions to the U.S, Marshals Service from thc Attorney General governing the activity of your personnel at this abortion clinic.
3. All documents referring specifically to my client, Meredith T. Raney, Jr.

I've already assured you that you will paid your charges for supplying this information. However, I again agree to pay the lawful charges for these copies,
