کلیسیاءکےعقائد اورضوابط پرایک کتاب کیوں ؟
ایک مسیحی کتاب گھر میں ایک اس طرح کاوالیم تلاش کرتے ہوئے میں نے سرسری طور پر مطالعہ کے دوران اپنے آپ سے یہ سوال پوچھا تھا
۔ ایسا کم و بیشتر ہی ہے کہ آپ باآسانی کوئی اس طرح کی کتاب تلاش
کر پائیںمسیحی کالجوں اور سیمنریوں میں آپ کو شاید عقائد وضوابط پر ایک یا دو ابواب کے ساتھ کچھ کتابیں مِل جائیں لیکن یہاں تک کہ یہاں بھی آپ کو مکمل طور پر اصل متن پر مشتمل کتاب اکثر نہیں مِلے گی ۔آج مارکیٹ کے اندر موجود ہزاروں مسیحی کتابوں میں سے بھی کلیسیائی عقائد سے تعلق رکھنے والی کتاب بمشکل ہی ملے گی ۔
حسبِ مُراد اس کتاب کے لیے یہی وجہ ہے ۔ شاید کوئی سوال: ۔ دورِ جدیدکے لوگ ابتدائی کلیسیاء کے عقائد پر مشتمل کتاب میں کیوں کر دلچسپی لیںگے؟ تو میں اُسے ےہ جواب دوں گا ،“یہاں پر معاملہ نہیں ہے ۔ کلیسیائی عقائد وضوابط کو نظر انداز نہیں کیا جاسکتا ہے خواہ وہ ہمیں کِس قدر ہی ناصاف اور باطنی کیوں نہ معلوم ہوتے ہوں ۔
تقریباً دوہزار سالوں تک ،کلیسیائی عقائد مسیحی عناصر کی گہرائی تک تعریف بیان کرنے والے بیانات اس بات کاجائزہ لینے کے لیے بنیاد رکھ رہے ہیں کہ مسیحی ہونے سے کیا مُراد ہے ۔اگر آپ اِن عقیدوں سے منحرف ہوجاتے تھےتو آپ پر اُسی وقت ہی بدعتی کاالزام لگ جاتا تھا ۔ پر وٹیسٹنٹ کے اصلاحی دور کے دوران ،مختلف فرقوں نے ایمان کے لمبے لمبے بیانات جاری کیے تھے جوکہ فرمان یا ضوابط کہلاتے تھے ۔ جِس نے مزید بیان کیا جو کچھ اصلاحی کلیسیائیں نجات ،کلیسیائی حکومت اور دوسرے معاملات کے بارے میں ایمان رکھتی تھیں ۔ رُومن کیتھولک نے کونسل آف ٹرنٹ سے ایک بیان جاری کیا جِس نے اِن معاملات کے اُوپر رُومی نقطہ نظر پیش کیا تھا ۔
اگلے صفحات پر آپ کو ابتدائی کلیسیاء کے اہم عقائد کے مکمل متن ملیں گے ۔میرا متن کو اس انداز میں ترتیب دینے کامقصد صرف پڑھنے والوں کے ہاتھ میں اُن عقائد پر مشتمل ایک کتاب دیناہے جن پر صد یوں سے تمام مسیحی رومن کیتھولک ،ایسٹرن اور تھوڈوکس اور پروٹیسٹنٹ ایمان رکھتے تھے ۔جب ہم اصلاحی دور کی طرف آتے ہیں ۔
تو ہم دیکھیں گے کہ نجات اور کلیسیائی حکومت کامعاملہ پروٹیسٹنٹ اصلاح والوں اور رومن کیتھولک کے بشپوں کے درمیان ایک بحث کامعاملہ بن گیا ۔ البتہ ،ہمیشہ سے تعلیم کی ایک ایسی ڈور جاری رہی ہے جِس پہ عام طور پر تمام مسیحی عمل پیرا رہے ہیں ۔
عام طو رپر عام سطح پر عقیدہ قدامت پسندی کہلاتا ہے ۔ قدامت پسندی کامطالعہ اتحاد کو فروغ دینے کے لیے بنیادی ہے ۔ چونکہ تعریفکے اعتبار سے یہ وہی کچھ ہے جِس پر تمام تر مسیحیوں کو اتفاق کرنا چاہیے ۔ شرعی طور پر قدامت پسندی سے مُراد “درست تاثرات“ہیں تمام تر حقیقی ایماندار روایت پاند ہیں کیوں کہ وہ سب سےبنیادی مسیحی تعلیمات کے حوالے سے درست تاثرات پر عمل کرتے ہیں ۔
گذشتہ صدیوں کے مسیحی قدامت پاندی کو بچانے کے لیے جان دینے کو بھی معمولی چیز سمجھتے تھے ۔جب
نے اریوسیت کو چوتھی صدی عیسوی میں جھٹلایا تھا ۔ بُہت ساروں نے اسے عنا کا مسلہ بنایا Athanasius
جِس نے مسیح یسوع کو خالق ، خُدا سے کم درجے کاخُدا بنایا تھا ۔ (Athansius )پر اُس کے ایمان کی وجہ سے تشدد کیا گیا تھا ، مگر وہ سچ کے لیے ڈٹا رہا تھا ۔اس طرح سے “( Athansius contra mundum ) “(“اAthansius دُنیا کے خلاف “)جوکہ اگلی نسل کےلیے ایک ایسے شخص کے لیے ایک ضرب المِثل بن گیا جوکسی بھی قیمت پر سچ پہ ڈٹا رہے ۔ پوری تاریخ کے اندر قدامت پسندی ہمیشہ سے مقبول نہیں ہوئی ۔لیکن اس نے ہمیشہ اُس کی تعریف کی ہے جومسیحی ایمان رکھتے ہیں ۔اور حقیقت ظاہر ہوچُکی ہے ۔قدامت پسندی ہی کلیسیاء کے اندر اتحاد کی واحد بنیاد ہے ۔اتحاد کو (کیتھ) بھی کہا جاتا ہے جِس کا مطلب شرعی طور پر “ آفاقیت “ہے۔ حقیقی ایمانداراس لحاظ سے کیتھولک ہیں ،کیونکہ وہ آفاقی ایمان کے قایل ہیں ۔ کسی بھی قِسم کااتحاد جِس میں قدامت پسندی کاتحفظ درکارنہیں ہے وہ ایک جھوٹا اتحاد ہے ۔
