Witchcraft and Satanism: Are they one and the same?

Most modern witches deny that they are followers of Satan and claim that their pagan concept of diverse gods does not match the Christian concept of the devil. Although Wiccans deny their association with the devil, they readily admit that they worship “a Horned God named Pan.” It is an inescapable fact that Pan is the universal symbol for Satan. Half-human and half-goat, Pan remains one of the most enduring and compelling symbols for the anti-Christ. Instead of God incarnate in man, as with Jesus, we see man joined to animal – one that is historically representative of the basest of animal and sexual passions.

The ancient cult of Pan involved rites of passage. In the Rites of Pan, music and sometimes drugs were used to entice spirits to possess the ritual’s participants. Possession by Pan, from which we get the word “panic,” often results in an obsession with sex and a need for immediate gratification. We see the sociological manifestations of this anti-Christ spirit everywhere in today’s society.

The universal law of witchcraft is similar to satanism: “An’ ye harm none, Do what thou wilt.” Another way this philosophy is expressed is in the satanic theology of Aleister Crowley, the most infamous satanist of our modern age – “Do what thou wilt is the whole of the law.” This is Crowley’s most well-known and enduring proverb.

This philosophy may seem right to those who have “been made spiritually blind by the god of this age” (2 Cor. 4:4). Yet this blinding deception obscures one of life’s most elementary truths – that ultimately there are two kingdoms and two types of people; those in God’s kingdom who have been redeemed by God and those in Satan’s who are trying to redeem themselves.

In the same way that the Kingdom of God holds to one supreme commandment, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind, soul and strength” (Deut. 6:5; Mark 12:30), so witchcraft can also be reduced to one essential law, “An’ ye harm none, Do what thou wilt.” and, in the case of Satanism, simply, “Do what thou wilt.” Contrary to the deceptive stereotype, no black masses or wild sex rituals are necessary to be a follower of Satan – simply deny the love and the authority of God by living your life the way you want to. You can even be religious, attend church regularly, tithe, perform good works. If it’s a religion based upon your own terms, you are still comfortably fulfilling the dictates of Satan’s most primary law: “Do what thou wilt.”

How ironic that witches and satanists should understand better than most Christians the true root of sin and the essential duality that divides asunder the whole of mankind. Each of us is ultimately given a choice upon which hangs the weight of eternity. We can go our own way and remain forever lost – or we can reach out to the One who is “the way, the truth, and the life” (John 14:6).

The Abortion Matrix: Defeating Child Sacrifice and the Culture of Death

Is there a connection between witchcraft, neo-paganism and the abortion industry?

This powerful presentation traces the biblical roots of child sacrifice and then delves into the social, political and cultural fall-out that this sin against God and crime against humanity has produced in our beleaguered society.

Conceived as a sequel and update to the 1988 classic, The Massacre of Innocence, the new title, The Abortion Matrix, is entirely fitting. It not only references abortion’s specific target – the sacred matrix where human beings are formed in the womb in the very image of God, but it also implies the existence of a conspiracy, a matrix of seemingly disparate forces that are driving this holocaust.

The occult activity surrounding the abortion industry is exposed with numerous examples. But are these just aberrations, bizarre yet anomalous examples of abortionists who just happen to have ties to modern day witchcraft? Or is this representative of something deeper, more sinister and even endemic to the entire abortion movement?

As the allusion to the film of over a decade ago suggests, the viewer may learn that things are not always as they appear to be. The Abortion Matrix reveals the reality of child-killing and strikes the proper moral chord to move hearts to fulfill the biblical responsibility to rescue those unjustly sentenced to death and to speak for those who cannot speak for themselves (Proverbs 24:11,12; 31:8,9).

Speakers include: George Grant, Peter Hammond, RC Sproul Jr., Paul Jehle, Lou Engle, Rusty Thomas, Flip Benham, Janet Porter and many more.

as a wiccan, i believe that this is an unjustified statement…

Do not be upset by this. Ignorant individuals cannot understand what you do. They do not realize their one god is actually 3. What we call gods and goddesses, they call them angels or Elohim.

They look for the differences, and they miss the similarities, similar to racism. They need realize EVERY culture has a different religion just like we all have different cuisine and language. The bible is replete with magick. Jesus walking on water, water into wine, raising the dead. Moses parting the red sea, creating plagues etc….

The bible is an example to all that magick can be and is part of every religion, and is indeed natural once we understand their underlying principles. Remember when Christians thought swimming was magick and you were possessed by a fish, now we realize anybody can swim once we understand the mechanics behind it.

Anybody from any belief system can be bad. Look at “good christians,” they enslaved Africans by the droves. They committed genocide and killed practically all the native Americans. Christianity has caused more harm than any satanist could ever dream of. So much pain and injustice has been done in the name of Jesus, I am sure he is highly upset with that, especially since he’s the prince of peace.

Christianity is not an authentic religion, namely because Jesus didn’t write the bible, jesus did not come here to establish another religion, there are enough of those. He came her to establish love, love has no bounds, and cannot be patented by any belief system. No religion has a monopoly on love.

The bible was written by a group of men during the 1st council of nicea in 325 c.e. THEY not Jesus decided what would be the central beliefs of christinity when they established the nicean creed. They decided what would be and would not be in the bible, not Jesus or his apostles, in fact they were all dead when this was done, how convenient. Christians don’t like jews when their own avatar was in fact a jew.

A brief stroll in any religious history book will explain all of this, they should call Christianity Niceaism instead, it would be far more accurate.

Me personally I adhere to no system, as I see truth in various systems, buddhism, shamanism (like wicca, theurgy, thelema etc…) hinduism (which is very paganistic), daoism etc… truth is a pathless land.

Push on, and remember, if every body discriminates against you for no reason other than their own preconcieved notions, it is them that are are wrong. Judge not lest ye be judged, I learned that one from Christianity, they should follow their own advice and stop hating, especially on the gays, leave them alone.

I don’t see why all the hatred for gays. If god hated gays, and it was unnatural why are their 1500 known species that have homosexual relationships?

The dwarf chimpanzee’s ENTIRE population is bi-sexual. People fail to realize the soul is not male or famale, only the body has sex. The soul is androgenous, when you love someone you don’t love their temporary body, you love their soul, hence homosexuality is an illusion. The soul is immortal and without sex, it is pure consciousness, like god. So there can be no real homosexuality or even heterosexuality, there is only love.

Remember I love you, even if you don’t love me. And if you disagree, I am glad, as there are infinite ways to approach the infinite.

As a proud Pagan and practicing Witch – and learned author, which this guy is not – I do not get upset by this guy’s ignorance; I simply pity his stupidity. Anyone who states “It is an inescapable fact that Pan is the universal symbol for Satan” is an obvious buffoon. And anyway, most of you think that Baphomet is a play off your devil. Or did this guy think They were one and the same, LOL? Since Paganism has been around for much, much, much longer than the religion of which he is a part, it is senseless to say WE fashioned a deity (or deities)from THEIR fictional character. The truth is, true Pagans do not recognize any “devil” as to which the Judeo-Christian set would relate. Pan, Cernunnos, Herne, Cern and other Horned Gods were around first. Christianity stole from Paganism in order to make-up their religion, not the other way around. (They sainted many of our Goddesses, they chose a day near our Yule to celebrate their Xmas, they named their Easter after our fertility Goddess Eostere and even “borrowed” eggs, bunnies and other symbols of fertility for this holiday. <What the hell would all this fertility symbology have to do with their resurrection holiday??? BTW, Ostara is the holiday honoring Eostere and also Spring Equinox on March 21. See how close Easter-day is, with all the PAGAN TRIMMINGS?> They bring trees into their home at Xmas, they utilize the Pagan custom of mistletoe, they use veils in their weddings <yep, Pagan custom!> The list goes on and on.) However, you will never convince someone, like this guy, who is brainwashed from birth that they are incorrect — especially a MAN of that religion, since they are under the misconception that men are superior to women.(Pardon me while Gaia and myself ROFLOAO!) I don’t care what they think or how they celebrate…whatever. But when people such as this guy spread outright lies — well — Karma will have Her way.

“…simply deny the love and the authority of God by living your life the way you want to…” I mean, how can you not pity a fool who won’t “harm none and do as he will” (ie, live this incarnation as he would like) because he lives every moment filled with fear? More pity.

“How ironic that witches and satanists should understand better than most Christians the true root of sin…” He is too blinded to understand that we do not recognize “sin” as he sees it, since we realize that his little book is nothing more than a work of fiction that is meant to teach lessons of life, NOT to be taken literally — just like the Wizard of Oz.

““Do what thou wilt is the whole of the law.” If you’re going to quote Crowley, finish the quote, for it is thus: “Do what thou wilt is the whole of the law. LOVE IS THE LAW. LOVE UNDER WILL.” It always amazes me how you like to lie and twist things to fit your personal agenda by simply deleting words, or indeed whole papyri. Nothing but pity, I tell ya.

I started reading this, and I almost couldn’t finish because it is so blatantly biased and misinformed. I came here looking for a definition of what Satanism is and some common misconceptions between that and Wicca- which I am currently studying. It is pitiable that one can be so close-minded and sure of themselves that they are able to post their ideas publicly without doing a speck of research for the opposing side.
Very saddening to learn, and somewhat frightening as well

As a wiccan, I find it ironic that a pre-christian religion could be, in any way, associated with the Christian Satan. I had been looking through various Christian beliefs about Satanism being appropriated with Wiccanism, and frankly, have found their lack of intelligence on the subject in which they write startling. In fact, Wiccans, and most other “Non-Orthodoxical” religions focus heavily on positive peaceful ways. I will not go as far as to say that the Christian teachings are a work of fiction, but one cannot deny the numerous contradictions within the teachings. It strikes me as pure ignorace when other religions are spoken of this way. I mean, if this was said against Judaism, There’d be an uproar.

I think that Satan is so clever to the extent that one can practice Satanism unknowingly, for example there are many witches in africa but I doubt if they know that what they do is Satanic.

I read your articles and there are a few things that I would like to discuss with you involving wicca. I do not know where you received your information from, but i wanted to tell you that 95% of it are not true practices of wicca. We do not believe in abortion for the purpose of sacrifices, we only see abortion as necessary when it proves significant threat to the mother such as ectopic pregnancy. anyone who tells you otherwise are in fact satanist. Wicca has been around long before crowley, long before gardner, and long before satanism. In fact, wicca and satanist have had a long uphill battle for generations. The 7 rules of satanism are in fact taken and twisted from the wiccan rede. There are in fact satanist, that pose as wiccans to slander our name, which is why some aspects of wicca just so happen to be so similar to satanism. any wiccan that comes to you and tells you they practice blood sacrifice, black magick, embrace the “dark side”, and worship a being called Lucifer, are lying, they are not wiccans, but merely santanist, pretending and working their evil ways to slanderize a religion full of kind, caring people that have already been ostracized enough and have a hard enough time as it is. satanist, believe in satan, which as you guys call, the father of lies, so how could you not think outside the box and not see that if they believe and follow such a spirit, that they would not lie and pose as something else to spread hate and wickedness? By believing them, all this time you have been manipulated and feeding into the very lies by the being you detest the most. your devils job is to spread hate, which he and the followers have done very well seeing by you and other Christians cruel and demeaning thoughts and voices about wicca. you guys have been duped by a devil in disguise, quite literally. If a person walked into a church and claimed to be christian, yet he blasphemized your god, and talked of wicked things such as child sacrifice, you would think satan in disguise, so why are you so quick to believe them when it comes to wicca? Have you ever even once heard the voice of a true wiccan other then myself? we do not believe in abortion, sacrifice, hurting another or the environment, or Lucifer. I myself do not fully believe in the concept of a dark lord, never have. however I am simply trying to communicate to our better understanding, surely i would get no where if i were to ramble on and on about how i do not believe in satan. any REAL wiccan would be able to speak as i am speaking now. on to the concept of pan, or the horned god, trust me, he is not satan, nor is he half goat half man. actually he is half man half stag, which a stag is an elderly male deer, people such as the native americans and native american spirituality worship the stag as something wise, with profound knowledge and life experience, and a protector of nature, men, upon showing courage, protecting the people, and braving enough hardships, and gaining vast knowledge of the divinity and within life, were often crowned with horns of a stag in a ceremony, wicca, whether they know it or not, is profoundly based on native american spirituality more so then it is pagan philosophy. the burning of incense, the guidance through animal spirits, the worship of the divinity within nature, are all practices of native americans, and as you know, native americans were not devil worshipers. And being a native american myself, I can tell you this, native americans and their practices have been around long before wicca, long before paganism, and they were kind, caring, and protective people, wicca is based on that, and we, the real ones are kind, caring and protective of people, my native american heritage and beliefs is actually what lead me to wicca. it just comes naturally. I love people, i love nature, I do not do just whatever i want, I work very hard to be compassionate, patient and understanding to all people from all walks of life. I work hard to protect our environment our children and our animals, i am an active member in helping my community and the people in it. i am a single, caring, loving single mother, and i am wiccan. Not everything is as it seems. I have more then enough bad things to say about Christians through my experiences, but i dont because they are not real christians, just as not all “wiccans” are real. Have you ever been walking along and have garbage and obscenities thrown at you for believing in something different? I have. have you ever lost every single one of your friends or a job because an outside source came along and convinced them you are a satanist? i have. have you ever been physically and emotionally abused and literally harassed and tormented by a lover, because he\she caught wind you were wiccan and was convinced by a church that you are filthy and evil and needed such punishment? I have. And people and web articles convincing people that we are satanist, only makes it worse. I despise satanist and their fake ways, and being called the same as them is not only offensive but hurtful. most of us are really good people. I do not expect you to believe in our ways, or even entirely accept them or preach for us. I simply hope that upon reading my comment that you are able to realize that there are fakers, and step out of that web of devilish lies which is wicca=satan, and make our life a little easier to live.

UNREAL And not true. Have you even met Satan to conform this?

Pan is Satan? Only because you borrowed the image of him and portrayed him as such for crowd control with Xians.

as a proud Pagan witch, I can say that I don’t believe in your Xian version of Satan, let along worship him. I don’t each children, I don’t sacrifice animals.. except like you for nourishment. I worship nature and all her glory. I follow the moon cycles.. that ALL WOMEN follow. (mr monthly ring a bell? Brought on by the moon)

I am so glad that I don’t have to put up with this kind of ignorance in my life. I am blessed to have loving family and friends to accept me as I am. Even xians. It is not up to you to decide what is right or wrong for me. That is my choice. Considering Paganism is as old as time, We WERE here first and we are not going anywhere.

Get some help. Get an education. And get a grip!

Funny that those same European Christians were the first to eliminate slavery while other countries with other beliefs still do west Africa with demonic religions like Yoruba Ifa, oh yeah fun fact Europeans didn’t catch the blacks they were prisoners of war and those who owed debts and broke the law (the Europeans would catch malaria before they could catch any African) and the Africans sold their own for stuff like gin and mirrors plus the west African coast has no place to port a ship and the Arab/muslim/Saharan aka islamic slave trade still exists with there demon Mohammed and is demonic god Allah, China with their religion/atheism, the ruler thinks he’s a god with his powers of communism and setting up other countries for failure owing china land and resources he slaves the Uyghur people; every other place is a practically a slave nation socialism you have no rights. The United States yes the country has its dark side and it’s inconsistencies, it still is was and every will be the only country in the world to have a civil war to end slavery which tbe south aka the confederates aka democrats, with the first republican president Abraham Lincoln from the Union aka the north freed slave, gave them citizenship and the right to vote many white men laid their live for thr sake of ending slavery….fun fact Anthony Johnson is the first owner of black slaves in 1650s not 1619, look it up spoiler alert be was a black man, so eat a dick with your wanna be history, what a fucking loser, I am the America-Wetback
