Lakeland: Dr. Joe Sanchez Jr., 77, of Lakeland, died September 28, 2011 from a stroke. Joe was born on January 11, 1934 in Tampa Florida. He was an avid Gator fan and loved corvettes. He is survived by his wife Patricia Sanchez; 4 sons David Sanchez (Bev); Michael Sanchez (Michelle); Steve Sanchez (Theresa) and Scott Sanchez; daughter Deborah Monaghen (Joe); 4 grandchildren; Robert, Spencer, Tanner, and Ashley. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
