The Florida Personhood Act

The following is proposed legislation that Personhood Florida will be submitting to our state representatives, senators and governor. We hope to find sponsors for this bill among the many legislators who have endorsed Personhood. The language of the bill is short and to the point. We begin by addressing the necessity of state nullification of wrongly decided federal court cases, such as Roe v. Wade. More state legislators are warming to the idea of using the 9th and 10th Amendments of the U.S. Constitution to ignore or defy Roe. The rest of the bill is simple and says nothing beyond what can be drawn out of the language of our proposed Personhood Amendment. We will first ask those legislators who endorsed the Personhood Amendment to sponsor this bill. The Florida Personhood Act would supersede all previous inconsistent and contradictory provisions that would then need to be struck from the code of laws. We see sponsorship of this bill as a necessary first step to get legislators on board with Personhood language as part of our Florida statutes.

A bill to be entitled “The Florida Personhood Act” to amend the code of laws of the state of Florida

The God-given right to life of every human being at any stage of development shall be recognized and protected. This provision shall be deemed to supersede any other inconsistent provisions.

After the Overturn of Roe v. Wade: Personhood for All!

SIGN THE PETITION

A New Wave of Support to Protect all Preborn Human Life in the State of Florida!

Personhood Florida, Protect Human Life Florida, and dozens of biblically based sanctity of life organizations and leaders have teamed up to promote the Human Life Protection Amendment!

This is a state constitutional amendment initiative recognizing the God-given right to life of the preborn individual. It defines by law a “preborn individual” as a human person at any stage of development. The amendment would recognize and protect all innocent preborn human life from conception and is the only active pro-life citizen initiative currently registered with the Florida Division of Elections.

The Large Christian Family is the Future of Humanity

Consider for a moment the Dobbs decision and the furor surrounding the “leak” and subsequent release of Samuel Alito’s majority opinion. Consider the abortion advocates anger over the end of the sole authority for their “abortion rights” — the state as God walking on earth.

Think about it.

If abortion is a “right” guaranteed by Roe as “the law of the land” then what happens now that the decision is overturned?

By what authority is that right claimed?

If it is by authority of the Court, then what happens when the majority rules no such Constitutional right exists?

What then?

By what authority do they insist on this?

The Emerging Multipolar World - America as a Model of Liberty

Since late February, I’ve published a series of articles critiquing the media lies about the Russia-Ukraine conflict. Certainly, the current military and economic war over Ukraine is a reflection of a deeper spiritual conflict between secularism and a traditional Christian social order. It is important that we not be led astray as to the nature of the war. The western public has been propagandized on a daily basis by both the neo-liberal and neo-conservative “legacy media.” We are told that Ukraine is winning the war, that we must spend billions of dollars fighting a proxy war to weaken Russia economically and militarily. We are constantly told that Putin is intent on restoring the Soviet Union with designs to invade Europe. Therefore, it is imperative that NATO expand its power so that the United States may remain as the world’s dominant economic and military superpower.

Personhood Florida and Abortion Abolition

Author’s note: I am writing this as the director of The Forerunner and president of Personhood Florida Education. This is not an “official” statement from any Personhood group. I do not speak for the national groups, Personhood USA or Personhood Alliance. That being said, I have spent countless hours speaking to the founders of both of these organizations. I believe I am representing their views accurately, although I need to emphasize that I cannot technically speak for them.

Please also see the links for The United States of America 2.0: The Great Reset. This is short primer on doctrine of nullification, which has been one of the foundational tenets of Personhood movement since its beginning. You may either order copies or I have posted all the articles that make up the booklet online for free.

The United States of America 2.0: The Great Reset

Jay Rogers

Revival, Resistance, Reformation, Revolution, Interposition and Nullification

In 1776, a short time after the Declaration of Independence was adopted, Thomas Jefferson, John Adams and Benjamin Franklin were assigned to design an official seal for the United States of America. Their proposed motto was “Rebellion to Tyrants is Obedience to God”. America owes its existence to centuries of Christian political philosophy. Our nation provided a model for liberty copied by nations the world over.

By the 21st century, we need a “Puritan Storm” to sweep away the Hegelian notion that the state is “God walking on earth.” We need revival and reformation in full force to vanquish the problems that plague us as a nation — from government controlled healthcare — to abortion on demand — to same sex “marriage.” This booklet gives a primer on our founders’ Christian idea of government and examines how the doctrine of nullification was woven into the Constitution as a safeguard against federal tyranny. It concludes with the history and theology of civil resistance. A Second American Revolution is coming with the Word of God growing mightily and prevailing! (Acts 19:20).

What is Personhood?

Personhood stands for the total abolition of abortion with no exceptions.

In fact, we should state at the outset that you cannot stand for Personhood without standing for the complete and immediate abolition of abortion. One naturally flows from the other.

Not only does Personhood embrace the idea of the immediate abolition of abortion, it goes far beyond that to include many other sanctity and dignity of life issues. Personhood advocates ought to endorse any and all bills and amendments to state constitutions that are in line with the goal of recognizing and protecting the God-given right to life of all human beings.

Mexico's Supreme Court Rules Criminalization of Abortion Unconstitutional

America’s Pro-life Movement Strangely Silent

As of 10 January 2011: Red = States with legal Constitutional protection for all people from conception to natural death. Blue = Mexico City offers abortion on request to any woman up to twelve weeks of pregnancy

I was confused to hear a report in numerous media headlines about Mexico’s Supreme Court. An abortion law in a Mexican state that criminalized abortion was struck down. I heard that the “Mexican Roe v. Wade” would now lead the way to liberalize abortion in this nation of 128 million people. This came in the wake of the recently enacted Texas Heartbeat Act that seeks to restrict abortion. I also heard in the same hour that a powerful earthquake shook southwest Mexico.

I expected to hear an outcry from the U.S. pro-life movement condemning this ruling, calling for a national Human Life Amendment in Mexico, and audaciously declaring that the earthquake was a sign of God’s judgment on a nation that has allowed the killing of preborn children.

But most pro-life groups were silent.

Why?

Simply, America’s pro-life movement has long agreed with the decriminalization of abortion.

The History of St. Patrick

You may be planning to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day this week, but you probably know little of the true history of Patrick. Contrary to popular belief, he was not Irish at all. He was a British bishop who lived at exactly the same time as St. Augustine. And the people he preached to in Ireland, were not “Irish,” but “Scots.”

Most people don’t know it, but two genuine writings of Patrick survive.

Letter To Coroticus

and

The Confession of St. Patrick
