Paul L. Sibley, M.D. died at the age of 53, on December 19, 2009. He was born and raised in Daytona Beach, Florida. He was a 22 year resident of Ocala, Florida where he resided at the time of his death. He succumbed to complications of a stroke. Paul graduated from Seabreeze High School, Daytona Beach, Florida in 1974, FSU 1978 and Meharry Medical College 1982. He completed his OB/GYN residency at University of Florida in 1986. He had been a Daytona Beach News Journal paperboy with his brothers for 8 years as a teenager and was employed at All Women’s Health Center for 21 years as a surgeon and gynecologist. Paul’s hobbies and interests included power boating, hunting and marlin fishing. He was an avid, life-long NASCAR, FSU and NFL fan and loved thrift stores but especially enjoyed spending time with friends and family, fishing and boating. Paul was a lifetime member of the AMA, the Florida Medical Association and a life-long member of the Billfish Association.
