In the next report (below), you’ll see a few video clips of what the newscaster refers to as Cal Zastrow’s “marching orders.” I produced these videos and they are available on Facebook. It’s amazing to me that something I put together in my home office — with a camcorder, software and computer platform that did not exactly break the bank — could then wind up as a video clip on a local evening news show in another city. It’s a brave new world of media and Christian activists need to take advantage of the opportunity.

Here’s Bryan Longworth’s report:

I thought the TC Palm videos were very fair, showing glancing views of even aborted babies. The Panama City newscaster said we showed pictures of dead babies, not fetuses. CBS 12 in West Palm started running stories the 10th. Curt Fonger, the male CBS 12 anchor is a pro-life Christian. His wife used to sit on the local CareNet board. His female co-anchor also said we held signs of preborn babies, not fetuses, and the Personhood Amendment got lots of air time and promotion.

We have received a good number of petitions from across the state, especially from the cities where the Personhood FL Tour went. We have received a tremendous response from people who saw the tour at the intersections or on TV. A man told me that if he had any doubts, the pictures definitely settled it. He especially was gripped by the pictures that used a dime to show the size of the dead preborn baby.

Here are some posts from our Facebook Group:

“Wishing I wasn’t babysitting today so I could get out to sign the petition! I can’t believe how the news turns Pro-life so negative by saying ‘anti-abortion’ bus! Ugh!” — Sarah Potter Dymond

“I just saw your display in port St Lucie, where do I sign the petition? I’m still crying!” — Connie Agler
